TEXAS – Today, the Texas AFL-CIO Committee on Political Education (COPE) announced their full slate of 2026 primary runoff election endorsements.

“These pro-worker candidates are ready to fight for better wages, fully-funding our public schools, and lowering health care costs,” said Texas AFL-CIO President Leonard Aguilar. “In runoffs, Texas union members’ votes could be the deciding factor, and you can bet on Texas union members turning out this May.”

Early voting for the primary runoff will be May 18-22, with Election Day on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

No action means that a vote was taken and the voting body decided not to endorse a specific candidate, allowing union affiliates to endorse at-will in that race. If a race is not listed, there was no recommendation from the committee.
